I first saw this at Cameron Moll’s site and just had to pass it on to everyone I know. Something about it just captured my attention. I love everything about it from the music to the editing to the simplicity of the idea. I found it incredibly heart-warming and inspiring.
Oh, how it has been too long since my last update. I’m overflowing with excitement thinking about what is to come. Recently, I started a different job and already have some new work to share. My wife is starting her own business. My sweet baby girl is just precious as she discovers something new each day. Oh, and I have a new site in the works!
We welcomed our first child into the world on Tuesday, July 15. She weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz and was 20.75 inches long. All are doing well as we look forward to a lifetime of fun and new adventures together.
If you love typography or think you have a keen eye for fonts, take a stab at The Rather Difficult Font Game. Take the challenge and let me know how you do. I’ve been meaning to share a little bit of my own recent branding design—beginning with my business card—and I just received the push I needed.
Brian Yerkes, Owner/Creative Director of Brian Joseph Studios, posted a clever blog asking for the Business Cards of Bloggers. I’ll admit that I am more of a designer than a blogger, but I knew it would be fun to join in. (Cue shameless promo part!) Plus, it will be fun to visit and revisit Brian’s post as the cards start showing up. Great idea, Brian, and thanks to Jacob Cass for spreading the word!
Do you have a blog and a business card? Head over to the site and follow Brian’s rules to participate. If you don’t have a business card but need one designed, give me a shout.
And now, without further introduction, I present the card … (relatively) hot off the press:
