Shameless Self Promotion

Sunday, May 4th, 2008

I’ve been meaning to share a little bit of my own recent branding design—beginning with my business card—and I just received the push I needed.

Brian Yerkes, Owner/Creative Director of Brian Joseph Studios, posted a clever blog asking for the Business Cards of Bloggers. I’ll admit that I am more of a designer than a blogger, but I knew it would be fun to join in. (Cue shameless promo part!) Plus, it will be fun to visit and revisit Brian’s post as the cards start showing up. Great idea, Brian, and thanks to Jacob Cass for spreading the word!

Do you have a blog and a business card? Head over to the site and follow Brian’s rules to participate. If you don’t have a business card but need one designed, give me a shout.

And now, without further introduction, I present the card … (relatively) hot off the press:

Micah Watson Band Glorious Unveiling CD

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with a good friend of mine, Micah Watson, on the art for his band’s new cd. Micah had the design and layout set up basically as you see it, I just put my touches on it. Sometimes a little spit and polish is all you need… (more…)

CWB Spring Newsletter 2007

While Art Director at Collins, Waters & Bridgman Integrated Marketing, I was tasked to layout the 2007 Spring Newsletter. Before diving into that project, however, I worked with copywriter Devon Hoff to create a new ‘tagline’ for the firm: identify. implement. ignite. Next, I created a new look for the firm with new type choices and the use of a brighter, bolder yellow. Then, (more…)
