Recently, I had the pleasure of working with a good friend of mine, Micah Watson, on the art for his band’s new cd. Micah had the design and layout set up basically as you see it, I just put my touches on it. Sometimes a little spit and polish is all you need… Read the rest of this entry »

While Art Director at Collins, Waters & Bridgman Integrated Marketing, I was tasked to layout the 2007 Spring Newsletter. Before diving into that project, however, I worked with copywriter Devon Hoff to create a new ‘tagline’ for the firm: identify. implement. ignite. Launched in September 2006, N-life is a monthly publication celebrating daily life in Norfolk. Each issue showcases the diversity of arts, entertainment, residential and business elements within the city. The above examples are just a few of my logo designs completed in recent years. If you would like to view more of my logos or get inspired by the creative designs of others, I highly suggest a brief perusal of LogoPond.
This is a great place to post your own showcase of logos, accept critiques on them, and critique the work of others. Though a bit subjective, the best logos are posted in the featured gallery. The site is rather active with a handful of regulars posting often and the gallery is continually being updated. If you participate in the action, I promise your logos will get critiqued soon enough!
